Scott Rickels
Scott Rickels’ directing style is marked by evocative imagery and an off-kilter sense of humor. He is a MFA Production graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts, where he received the Chair Recognition Award for Merit in Screenwriting. His directorial debut, The Clean-Up Crew , a dark comedy webisode series, premiered in the summer of 2008. His other directing credits include PSAs for the American Cancer Society, music videos for indie artist Rachel Kay and the award winning Dallas band: Black Tie Dynasty. Black Tie’s Once Around video was an Official Selection at The Other Venice Film Festival (2007). Currently, Scott is developing and writing several internet, television and feature film projects. He has a BFA in Theatre from TCU in Fort Worth, Texas.
